Bio:

I may date myself, but I began exercising during the days of leotards and leg warmers. For many years however, I made my career behind a desk in the corporate world. After realizing that I would rather be in the wellness field, I changed career goals. They changed from improving the quality of lives in a business setting to positively affecting the lives of individuals through massage therapy and physical fitness. In addition to having a Masters’ degree in Training and Development, I have a degree in Occupational Studies. I graduated from The Swedish Institute where they well prepared me to be a massage therapist and a personal trainer. I am licensed in New York and nationally certified to practice massage in 38 other states. My education also includes training in exercise science and physical rehabilitation. I have worked in fitness clubs with members on an individual bases in addition to teaching group exercise sessions. Most recently, I worked in calibration with a chiropractor whose patient’s goals were to rehabilitate from a muscular injury or a postural/physical imbalance. I have also maintained a steady private, in-home personal training client base.
