Do I need to have equipment? No equipment is necessary. Our trainers will utilize any sort of equipment you do have in your home during your sessions however it is not necessary to have equipment. Our trainers will come equipped with enough equipment to help you get an effective workout in which depending on your needs, may include weights, excercise tubing, physio balls, medicine balls, etc..

How long is each session? Each personal training session is 60 minutes. The Free initial fitness assessment normally runs about 30-50 minutes.

How do you select the trainer for me? We select the trainer for you based on your needs, goals, schedule which we evaluate after we recieve your intake form.

What happens if I do not like the trainer selected for me? If for any reason you do are not satisified with the trainer we selected for you, we will set you up with a different trainer. We understand that in order for you to achieve your goals it is so important for personalities to mesh between trainer and client.

Where will we train? We come to you. Any empty space in your home is acceptable. Some clients like to train outside in their yards, in a nearby park, or in their home gym area if they have one. Other clients may have a gym in their Condominium or Apartment Complex which we can use for training sessions. We can adapt to any of these situations.

What hours are your trainers available for sessions? Our trainers are available from 6AM-8PM Seven days a week.

How often should I workout with a trainer? This will depend on your needs, goals, progress, and availability. Your trainer will be able to recommend how many days a week you should be working out to attain your goals. It is up to you, how many of those days the trainer will be there. Some clients need constant motivation and therefore need a trainer there with them every time they work out. For others who are self motivated, and they may just need a trainer to come in once or twice a week.

What are your payment policies? Payments are accepted by Mastercard, Visa or American Express over the phone or you may mail a check to Jiva prior to the start of your first session.

What are your cancellation/lateness policies? Jiva has a 24 hour cancellation policy. Please call 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule to avoid paying for that session. If you are running late, please give a courtesy call. If you are 30 minutes lates and we have not received a call from you, you will be considered a "no show" and be held responsible for the missed session.

What is your refund policy? Jiva does not provide refunds unless (1) you become physically disabled and are unable to exercise for a period of 6 months or longer (2) or if you move away. To obtain a refund you must present proof. Personal training sessions are non-transferable and unused sessions are non-refundable.

Do you charge extra for travel time and mileage? No.
