What is a typical chair massage like?Chair massage is given in a specially designed ergonomic chiar with comfortable support for the face, arms, legs and torso. The Massage Therapist will use various massage techniques such as compression, acupressure, shiatsu, stretching, & rhythmic tapping to relieve tension in the neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands.
How much space does chair massage require? Any empty space that is at least 5' X 6' will work just fine. The therapist just needs enough space to set up the massage chair and to be able to work around it.
Do the massage therapists use any oils? No. Chair massage is done fully clothed so there are no oils used.
What about hygiene? Our therapists clean/disinfect their massage chair and hands in between each massage. Every massage client received a new disposable face rest cover as well.
Will this disrupt the workplace? Not at all. We provide a very seemless quiet operation. Sessions can take as long as coffee break.
Can the massage therapists adapt to the type of pressure wanted by each massage recipient? Absolutely! Our Massage Therapists will check in with the massage receipient during the massage but the recipient should always keep in touch with the therapist to let them know if they want more or less pressure.
Can pregnant women get chair massage? Absolutely. It can be very beneficial for pregnant women to get massaged. The therapist does need to know however that the recipient is pregnant so they can adjust to assure the safety and comfort of the pregnant massage recipient.
Are your Massage Therapists insured? All of our Massage Therapist have professional liability insurance.
Are your Massage Therapists certified? All of our Massage therapists are certified and/or licensed in the state in which they practice. All states have different requirements. Our therapist adhere to whatever requirements are set in the state in which they practice.
Are gratuities necessary? Tips are never expected but always appreciated for a job well done. The average tip is between 10-20%.
What is your cancellation policyWe have a 24 hour cancellation policy for chair massage for 100% refund. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 50%.
What hours are therapists available for massage? Normally between 8am-8pm. Please call if you would like to discuss arrangements for an appointment outside of these times.
